Am I Insurable?

There is a saying that money does not buy long-term care insurance, health does.  Companies have gotten much stricter in their underwriting but oftentimes people that thought they could not be insured are able to get coverage.  The best way to find out is to talk call the office  and disclose your condition as well as all your medications in order to find out for sure.

Some conditions that are not insurable include:

Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Aids, history of Stroke with any residual effects, Diabetes with retinopathy, neuropathy or coupled with any other complications, severe rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis with compression fractures, alcoholism, smokers with emphysema.  Persons with a history of cancer or heart disease can often times be insured.

Persons pending any surgery at all are not insurable until after treatment stops.  Any one receiving care now or needs a wheelchair is not insurable.
