Cost of Reciving Personal Care

The cost of care for the San Francisco/Bay area varies depending on the type of care you need.  The average nursing home facility as of 2005 is now running over $ 200 per day without incidentals.  Home care averages $ 22-$25 per hour with 24 hour care costing much more than a nursing home.

The cost for insurance varies depending upon your age, if you smoke, single or married, health history, and the benefits that you choose.  Please contact my office for a rate guide that will give you an idea of the costs based on your age.

Do not assume that Group rates are cheaper or better.  Often times group rates do not offer inflation protection, or they may charge you for benefits that you do not need.  It is important to compare policies since the premiums will be due for many years to come.
